“I see myself making one dress for $100,000” — Veekee James explains why she won’t quit fashion

Fashion designer Veekee James has explained why she has no plans to abandon fashion designing for content creation, despite the huge financial opportunities available in the digital space.

Speaking about her career plans, Veekee said she believes fashion has greater long-term financial potential and could eventually earn her more than lucrative content creation deals.

“I don’t know the content creation that can make me stop fashion designing. I don’t know the kind of money I would see. In the next five years, I see myself making one dress for $100,000, if not more. Just one dress,” she said.

The fashion designer acknowledged that content creation could bring in significant earnings, but noted that such deals may be limited by their duration.

“Maybe a content creation deal could pay me $500,000, but that might be a one-year contract. The amount I can make from one, two, three, or five dresses wouldn’t even take that long to achieve,” she added.

Veekee also described fashion designing as the foundation of her career and something she considers deeply personal.

“Fashion designing is my foundation; it’s my baby. It’s not something I joke about. Unless I see that I’m losing focus on God’s purpose for my life, I won’t abandon it simply because there’s money elsewhere.”

While she remains open to lucrative brand partnerships and content creation opportunities, Veekee made it clear that fashion will continue to be her priority and core identity.
